FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference has announced its 2025 Women's Soccer all-conference teams and award winners, and Washington and Lee headlined by sweeping the major awards and placing eight players on All-ODAC teams.

Senior Sarah Zimmerman led the way, as she was named the Player of the Year for the second year in a row, on top of earning the ODAC/Va. Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. Senior Bryn Bissinger repeated as Defensive Player of the Year, first-year Mary Parrish Green was selected as the Rookie of the Year, and head coach Tiffany Pins collected Coach of the Year.

Zimmerman and Bissinger also landed on the All-ODAC First Team, along with senior Sydney Devory and sophomores Elizabeth Zimmerman, Megan Zimmerman and Kate McEnroe. Green claimed a Third Team All-ODAC citation and senior Helen Otteni wrapped up the W&L honorees with a third team honor, as well.

S. Zimmerman is in the middle of putting a stamp on her career at W&L with yet another impressive offensive season. A 2024 First Team All-American, Zimmerman leads the Generals in goals (15) and points (34), and she enters the NCAA Tournament this weekend having scored at least one goal in five straight games. She also recently became the fifth player in program history to cross the 100-point mark for her career.

Off the pitch, Zimmerman has excelled in the classroom as a mathematics and business administration double-major. She was named a 2024 College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American, in addition to earned First Team Scholar All-America honors from the United Soccer Coaches as a junior. Zimmerman becomes the first player since 2017 to claim both the ODAC Player and Scholar Athlete of the Year awards (Emily Maxwell, Lynchburg)

Bissinger gets her second straight ODAC Defensive Player of the Year award for her continued strong play on the W&L backline. With her leadership, the Generals have allowed just eight goals in 20 games this season with 13 shutouts, while allowing one goal or fewer all but one game so far. Bissinger has also continued to rack up assists on the offensive end, dishing out seven more this season, plus two goals, to move up to fourth place in program history in career assists (24).

Green has been equally impressive on both ends of the field this season to lock up the Generals' second straight ODAC Rookie of the Year recipient (M. Zimmerman). Green has aided in the defense posting a 0.39 goals-against average this season, and she has also totaled 12 points on two goals and eight assists. Her eight helpers are tied for the team lead (E. Zimmerman), while her point total is tied for sixth on the squad.

In her four years leading the W&L women's soccer program, Pins has now claimed the ODAC's top coaching honor in three of those seasons. The Generals are currently 16-2-2 heading into NCAA Tournament play and went 10-0 in conference play for the second year in a row to win their second straight regular season title. Pins led the team to its second consecutive ODAC tournament championship, as well, this season, with the team holding a 68-8 scoring margin across the 20 games played.

Devory is a First Team All-ODAC player for the second year in a row as another key piece of the strong W&L defensive unit. Starting all 20 games so far for the Blue and White, Devory's efforts have helped the Generals post the 12th-best goals-against average (0.394) in Division III women's soccer this season. She has also contributed three points on offense with a goal and an assist.

Elizabeth Zimmerman makes her first career All-ODAC team appearance with 20 points so far this season through 20 games played. She has scored six times and is tied with Green for the team lead at eight assists. Her season has been highlighted by an eight-game point streak in which she tallied at least one point in each of the team's games played in the month of October. In total, Zimmerman has notched at least one point in 10 games this season.

Megan Zimmerman repeats as a First Team All-ODAC player after her Rookie of the Year campaign a season ago. She has a single-season career high five assists this year, on top of five goals for a total of 15 points. Her season highlights include a three-game assist streak into the ODAC Tournament, plus back-to-back games with two goals scored at the end of September.

McEnroe is a first-time All-ODAC selection after taking over starting keeper duties for the Generals. In 1,520:18 of action, McEnroe has allowed just eight goals for a 0.47 goals-against average, and she is making saves at a rate of 0.892. On top of six shutouts this season, McEnroe leads the ODAC in both save percentage and GAA, while ranking 24th and 18th, respectively, nationally. Most recently, McEnroe came up especially clutch in the ODAC championship game when she made a save during a penalty shootout to keep the team alive, before she scored the winning penalty herself in the subsequent round.

Otteni collects the second Third Team All-ODAC award of her career having matched M. Zimmerman's numbers of 15 points on five goals and five assists, while starting all 20 games so far this season. Otteni has logged at least one point in eight contests in 2025, including the game-winning goal in the 57th minute to help the team upend then fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins back on September 7.

The Generals look to continue their success into this weekend's NCAA Tournament games. They will host Marymount at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the first round.
