WINCHESTER, Va. -- The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) announced the 2024-25 All-State Men's Soccer College Division teams and award winners on Thursday, and Washington and Lee's Weyimi Agbeyegbe and Lumumba Shabazz brought home major awards to highlight the honored Generals.

Agbeyegbe rounds out his collegiate soccer career as the College Division Player of the Year, while Shabazz earned the distinction of Coach of the Year. Agbeyegbe was also named an All-State First Team player along with classmate PJ Ryan, while senior Lucas Pleasants and sophomores Dmitri Tulloch and Spencer Furman all landed on the second team.

Agbeyegbe, the ODAC Player of the Year and a United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-American, closed out his career with yet another dazzling season, as he led the ODAC in goals (14) and points (35) for the third consecutive season. It also marked his third straight season reaching both at least 10 goals and 30 points. During the season, Agbeyegbe became W&L's all-time leading scorer at 118 points, and he finished his career with 121 total. He also ranks tied for second in career assists (25) and third in goals scored (48) for the program.

In his first season in Lexington, Shabazz guided the Generals to their third NCAA Championship semifinal appearance in the last four years, along with a 15-4-6 overall record, 6-0-4 in the ODAC, and the program's eighth conference tournament championship. After a 1-3 start to the season, the Generals' only other loss of the season came in the national semifinals to Connecticut College, as the team rattled off 20 straight games without a loss.

Ryan collected his second straight United Soccer Coaches First Team All-Region citation this season after another strong season on the Generals' defense. With Ryan's help, W&L posted 10 shutouts this season and held opponents to an average of 0.90 goals per game. Ryan also added five points on one goal and a career-high three assists on the offensive end.

Pleasants' All-State Second Team comes alongside a 2024 All-ODAC Second Team selection following a career-best season. He started all 25 games for the Blue and White and owned the second-most points (20) and goals (8) on the team, with an additional four assists. Two of Pleasants' goals came up clutch in the postseason for W&L, as he scored twice in the team's 3-2 national quarterfinal win at No. 6 Dickinson.

Tulloch netted the first all-region citation of his career this season, a third team nod, after a breakout sophomore campaign that saw him set career highs in points (13), goals (4) and assists (5). He ranked third on the team in points, tied for second in goals and fourth in assists. Tulloch logged a point in six games this season, which included three games in which he scored and assisted on a goal, all of which came in wins.

Furman, a first-time All-ODAC honoree this season, was another key piece to the W&L backline. Furman played in 21 games this season with 20 starts and aided in the Generals' 0.90 GAA and 10 shutouts, which included a 0.700 goals-against and five clean sheets in ODAC play. On the offensive end, Furman tallied five points on two goals and an assist, with one of his goals being the lone score in the ODAC championship game against Lynchburg.
