Men’s Track and Field Competes at Finn Pincus Invite

SALEM, Va. - The Washington and Lee University men's track and field concluded the Finn Pincus Invite with two top eight finishers on Saturday at Roanoke College. 

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MEET
  • Ryan McKenna, Danny Jakubowski-Lewis, Will Vaughn and Schuyler Clark teamed up in the 4x400m relay this afternoon, clocking in a time of 3:33.27 to finish in third place. Their time ranks third in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) and south region so far this season.
  • Senior George Marable qualified for the finals in the 60m hurdles yesterday. Marable turned in a seventh place finish after crossing the finish line in 8.70s. This mark ranks third in both the ODAC and south region. 
  • Patrick Haynes competed in the triple and long jump this afternoon, recording a tenth place finish in the triple jump with a mark of 12.53m (41'-01.50"). Haynes also recorded a season-best mark of 5.94m (19'-06.00").
