BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Washington and Lee University riding team put forth a strong showing at the Virginia Tech Turkey Trot Fall 2024 IHSA event, placing in 13 out of 15 events. With multiple wins over fences, the Generals secured third place overall with 29 points behind Lynchburg's 38 and the host's 31 points.
Notably, Allison Hines and Elisabeth Marek are tied in the Regional High Point Rider standings, underscoring their consistency and throughout the young season.
Hines and Marek swep the Open A and Open B draws while Dara Barge took first in the Limit over Fences event.
