Rustburg, VA – On Sunday, the Washington and Lee University riding team delivered a third-place performance during the second day of the University of Lynchburg IHSA Fall II Doubleheader.
The Generals secured multiple ribbon finishes, highlighted by another Allison Hines' win in Open Fences and a pair of regional championship qualifications in Lydia Bowersox and Jade Condrell in the Limit Flat and Limit Fences, respectively.
In her first collegiate competition, Caroline Cruze took second place in the Pre-Novice Equitation class.
W&L finished with 37 team points, 19 more than the season-opener show, and sit in fifth in regional regular-season scoring with 49 points.
