WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team registered four personal bests at the Colonial Relays hosted by William & Mary on Friday.
Highlights From the Meet
- The Generals sent their distance crew to the meet featuring teams from all divisions on Friday evening and W&L set four personal bests in the 1,500m.
- Sophomore Chris Ruiz (Highland Lakes, N.J./Vernon Township) was the fastest finisher for the Blue and White in a personal-best time of 4:00.96.
- Junior Connor Verrett (Cockeysville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) notched a personal best in the race at 4:02.53. Sophomore Hayden Roberts (Lutherville, Md./Loyola Blakefield) finished in a career-best time of 4:03.39, and sophomore Jake Symonds (Emerald Hills, Calif./Crystal Springs Uplands) registered a personal-best time of 4:05.70.
