LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee men's track and field opened the outdoor season on Friday on day one of the W&L Carnival at Wilson Field.
Highlights From the Meet
- The Generals placed second in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:22.43. The quartet consisted of junior Doug Dracon (Matthews, N.C./Weddington), first-year George Marable (Aransas Pass, Texas/Rockport-Fulton), sophomore Zach Moore (Advance, N.C./Forsyth County Day School) and first-year Luke Avigliano (Madison, N.J./Seton Hall Prep).
- First-year Isaac Barber (Providence Forge, Va./New Kent) finished sixth in the long jump with a mark of 6.51m (21'4.25").
- Sophomore Adam Roy (Bedford, N.H./Bedford) had two Top 8 finishes. He claimed seventh in the javelin at 49.83m (163'6.00") and eighth in the shot put with a toss of 12.82m (42'0.75").
