LEXINGTON, Va. — The Washington and Lee men's basketball team used an 11-0 run midway through the second half to defeat Eastern Mennonite, 81-67, on Tuesday at Holekamp Gym.

A jumper by senior guard DaiJordan Brown brought the Royals (9-13, 7-8 ODAC) to within five, 57-52, with 11:01 remaining in the second half. Sophomore forward Robert DiSibio (Sandy Hook, Conn./Newtown) answered with a three-pointer to stretch the lead to eight.

Following a miss by EMU, senior forward Gus Wise (Winchester, Va./John Handley) dropped in a layup, and after another miss by the Royals, Wise sunk another layup to extend the Generals' (11-10, 9-6 ODAC) advantage to 64-52 with 8:58 on the clock.

Wise then blocked a shot on the other end, which led to a triple by junior guard Jack Lewis (Rockville, Md./Sidwell Friends). Sophomore guard Drew Harrell (Collingswood, N.J./Paul VI) capped the run with a free throw to push the lead to 16 points (68-52) with 7:31 left in the contest. The margin did not drop below 12 points the rest of the way, as the Blue and White earned the 14-point win.

DiSibio led the Generals with 19 points and five rebounds. Lewis hit all five of his shots from the floor and all four from three to notch 11 points, and sophomore forward Jack d'Entremont (Bryn Mawr, Pa./Radnor) tallied 13 points and six rebounds.
