SALEM, Va.  — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team registered eight Top 5 finishes, as the Generals finished up competition at the Keydet Invitational hosted by VMI and the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke.

Highlights From the Meet

• In the 800m, the Generals claimed two of the Top 3 spots. First-year Luke Avigliano (Madison, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) placed second in 1:59.37, and sophomore Zach Moore (Advance, N.C./Forsyth Country Day School) took third in 2:00.30.
• Sophomore Adam Roy (Bedford, N.H./Bedford) finished fourth in the shot put and the weight throw. He was fourth in the shot put with a career-best 12.41m (40'8.75") and was fourth in the weight throw with a career-best toss of 11.52m (37'9.50").
• First-year Isaac Barber (Providence Forge, Va./New Kent) was fourth in the triple jump at 12.64m (41'5.75").
• The 4x400m relay claimed fourth with a time of 3:35.27. The quartet consisted of first-year Wilson Kasischke (Dexter, Mich./Dexter), junior Max Weaver (Charlottesville, Va./Woodberry Forest School), sophomore Mark Waller (Mountain Brook, Ala./Mountain Brook) and junior Ty Powell (Yorktown, Va./Tabb).
