SALEM, Va.  — The Washington and Lee men's track and field team finished competition at the Bast-Cregger Invitational on Saturday.

Highlights From the Meet

• The Generals took two of the Top 7 spots in the 4x400m relay. The quartet of first-year Ryan McKenna (Ridgewood, N.J./Ridgewood), junior James Dixon (Mountain Brook, Ala./The Altamont School), first-year George Marable (Aransas Pass, Texas/Rockport-Fulton) and junior William Daniels (Pawleys Island, S.C./Waccamaw) finished third in 3:34.79, while the foursome of junior Max Weaver (Charlottesville, Va./Woodberry Forest School), sophomore Mark Waller (Mountain Brook, Ala./Mountain Brook), junior Ty Powell (Yorktown, Va./Tabb) and senior Dalton Grauer (Claremore, Okla./Lincoln Christian School) placed seventh in 3:41.06.
• Senior Joe O'Connor (Henrico, Va./Douglas Freeman) claimed fourth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.55, while junior Seamus Watters (New Orleans, La./Bronsville) placed eighth in 9.04.
• First-year Luke Avigliano (Madison, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) took fifth in the 400m, crossing the finish line in 51.43.
