LEXINGTON, Va. — Junior forward

The Generals (9-3) led 42-31 at halftime, but the Bullets (7-3) drained the first two jumpers of the second half to trim the deficit to 42-35 at the 18:49 mark. Brueggeman drilled a triple to push the lead back to double digits, and then first-year guard

Senior guard
Kevin Dennin (Severna Park, Md./Severn School) then dropped in a layup off a feed from junior forward
Curtis Mitchell (Chevy Chase, Md./Georgetown Prep), and then Dennin buried a triple on the break to extend the Generals' lead to 51-35 with 16:19 on the clock.
First-year center Sukky Nd-Ezuma made a layup to stop the 9-0 run for W&L, but Dennin answered with another three. A layup by Mitchell pushed the margin to 19 (56-37) and then a three-pointer by Manigault gave the Blue and White a 22-point lead, 59-37, with 11:58 left to put the game away.
Brueggeman totaled his 23 points on 8-of-13 from the floor. He also had nine rebounds, three steals and three assists, as he was named the Tournament MVP at the conclusion of the contest. This marks the third straight game he has notched at least 20 points.
