LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee men's swimming team returned to its winning ways with a 201-61 dual-meet win over Roanoke on Saturday afternoon.
Highlights from the meet:
-W&L claimed victories in all 14 events, with nine different swimmers combining for the wins.
-The Generals were paced by the efforts of sophomores Danny Lynch (Richmond, Va. / Trinity Episcopal School) and Patrick Sullivan (Pawleys Island, S.C. / Waccamaw), who both posted three individual wins and a relay win. Lynch was on the meet-opening 200 medley relay (1:36.66) and went on to touch the wall first in the 100 backstroke (52.53), 200 backstroke (1:58.23) and 200 individual medley (1:59.21). Lynch's wins came in the 50 (21.41), 100 (47.69) and 200 freestyle (1:42.49) races, followed by his efforts in the 200 freestyle relay (1:27.52), where he swam the second leg to close the meet.
-Junior Jared Nickodem (Jackson, Wis. / Cedarburg Senior) was the only other General to tally multiple wins, as he emerged victorious in the 100 (53.26) and 200 butterfly (1:56.28) events.

-Jonathan Tucker – 200 breaststroke (2:09.23)
-Bancks Holmes – 500 freestyle (4:54.89)
