2020-21: Three-year letterwinner for the Generals.
 
2019-20: Garnered First Team All-ODAC laurels … was the runner-up in the 50 free (21.02) and 100 free (45.81) at the ODAC Championships (2/6-9) … added a fifth-place finish in the 200 free (1:43.98) and took part on the 200 medley relay and 400 free relay wins at the conference meet … also a VaSID First Team All-State freestyle and relay swimmer … W&L Scholar Athlete for the Winter term … named to ODAC All-Academic team.

2018-19: Earned First Team All-ODAC laurels … helped the 200, 400 and 800 free relays to wins at the ODAC Championships (2/15-17) … added a second-place finish in the 100 and 200 free races and placed third in the 50 free at the conference meet.

2017-18: Claimed All-ODAC second team honors after placing fourth in the 500 free (4:45.86) at the ODAC Championships (2/9-11), a season best … also recorded his fastest times in the 100 free (46.85) and 200 free (1:44.34) at ODACs.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in swimming and one-year letterwinner in cross country at Cary Christian School … helped swimming team win 2013-14 EPIC Conference Championship … three-time EPIC Swimmer of the Year and all-state honoree … also earned all-conference accolades all four years … helped cross country team win 2015 conference and state championships.

Personal: 2019 recipient of the Johnson Opportunity Grant Scholarship … Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) Leadership team … conducting independent research for the Biology Department during the fall 2020 term … mother, Amy Monroe Van Vooren, played volleyball at DePauw … biology major.
