DATAW ISLAND, S.C. – The Washington and Lee women's golf team had three individuals participating in the Taylor Made Adidas Intercollegiate held at the Cotton Dike Course on Monday.

Host Ohio Wesleyan leads the team portion of the event with a score of 377.  Faulkner University's Emma Sears is the individual leader after the first round with an 87 (+15).

Leading the way for W&L is first-year Rachael Wright (Roanoke, Va. / North Cross), who is tied for second out of 26 individuals with an 89.  First-year Nicole Kasica (Greensboro, N.C. / Northern Guilford) is tied for 13th with a 101, while first-year Lydia Barit (Paget, Bermuda / Middlesex School) is 20th overall (107).

Action continues on Tuesday with the second and final round from Dataw Island.
