PALM DESERT, Calif. – The 2026 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America and All-Region teams and award winners were announced Monday night at the WGCA Banquet, and Washington and Lee collected three regional honors.

Jane Hopkinson-Wood was named the Southeast Region Coach of the Year, while sophomore
Berkeley Bundy and first-year
Toral Bhatt were selected to the All-Southeast Region Team. It marks the first season W&L women's golf has claimed multiple WGCA All-Region citations, while Hopkinson-Wood secures her first regional coaching accolade.
Hopkinson-Wood has led the Generals through a competitive schedule this season, with the team placing eighth or better in all eight tournaments, including Top 6 in each of the last seven. W&L has been consistently ranked inside the Top 10 this season, while holding an 83-28-0 (.748) head-to-head record. The Generals took second at the ODAC Championship this season, with all five players in the lineup finishing inside the Top 18 to earn Flag Pin Honors.
Bundy enters the final tournament of the season as the No. 41-ranked golfer in Division III, compiling a 73.9 scoring average across all 19 rounds played by the team this season. Bundy has recorded back-to-back fifth-place finishes at the Stith Invitational and ODAC Championship, respectively, and holds a 521-103-16 (.827) head-to-head record. Bundy also leads the team in fairway percentage (88 percent) and greens in regulation (67 percent) and is averaging 1.8 birdies per round.
Bhatt has been the Generals' best golfer of late with an individual win at the ODAC Championship (E) to claim the conference rookie of the year award, which came one tournament after tying for first (+1) at the Stith Invitational. The Generals' top-ranked golfer heading into the national tournament at No. 40, Bhatt has also played all 19 rounds this season for the team and is averaging 74.0 strokes per round, 2.4 birdies per round and has a head-to-head record of 475-145-20 (.758).

The Generals will round out their season this week at the 2026 NCAA Division III National Championship at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif. W&L will tee-off in Round 1 on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. EDT/7:00 a.m. PDT.
