BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team defeated Bridgewater, 15-12, 15-12, 15-12, in ODAC volleyball action on Wednesday evening in Bridgewater, Va.

The Generals (6-1, 3-0) were led by sophomore middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart), who totaled 11 kills, four aces, and four solo blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Lee Charbonnet (New Orleans, La./Benjamin Franklin) recorded 11 kills and 12 digs, while junior setter Katherine Kline (Potomac, Md./Holton-Arms) amassed a team-high 34 assists.

W&L has now won 16 consecutive ODAC matches dating back to the 1997 season. The loss dropped Bridgewater to 2-5 overall, 1-1 in the ODAC.

W&L will return to action on Friday and Saturday, when it travels to Maryville, Tenn., for the Maryville Invitational.
