  • The Generals found momentum in the second set, jumping out to an early 6-2 lead behind three kills from Mitchener and one from Gaines. The Vikings responded with eight unanswered points to take a 10-6 advantage before a 7-2 W&L run propelled the Blue and White back in front by one. Mitchener recorded a kill and service ace during the scoring stretch, while Stephanie Lynch and Cara Hamil each added a kill.
