Tim Cole

Tim Cole is entering his fourth season as an assistant volleyball coach at Washington and Lee.  During his first three seasons, the Generals have compiled a 74-29 overall record.  The 2010 team went 28-7 overall and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Tournament, while last season's squad won the conference regular-season title and finished 27-8 overall.

Cole came to W&L after serving as the head men's volleyball coach at Southern Vermont for the 2009 season. Prior to Southern Vermont, Cole was a graduate assistant for the women's volleyball program at Otterbein College in 2007 and 2008.

A four-year letterwinner and two-time team captain for the Juniata men's volleyball team, Cole was twice named an All-American(2004, 2005). He also served as a student assistant with the Juniata women's volleyball team. Following his collegiate playing days, Cole played professionally overseas, most notably for MoerserSC of the German Bundesliga.

He graduated in 2006 with a bachelor of arts degree in literature and writing.
