Tyler Linscott

Tyler Linscott is in his first season as the Assistant Women's Tennis Coach at Washington and Lee University for the 2024-25 season.

Linscott joined the W&L women's tennis coaching staff with a myriad of coaching experience at the Division III level. Most recently, he served as the Director of Tennis for three seasons at Willamette University, while also working as an assistant coach for a Team USA National Wheel Chair player for the last four years.
 
In the years prior to Willamette, Linscott held assistant coaching positions at Amherst College and Linfield College, with a head coaching stop at Illinois College between Amherst and Linfield. Linscott served at Amherst from June 2021 to January 2022, assisting in practice planning, recruiting at the ITA regional tournament before departing for Willamette ahead of the spring 2022 season.
 
Linscott was at Illinois College for one season (2019-20) as the head coach for both the men's and women's tennis programs, where he led the women's team to the most conference wins in school history. He assumed his role at Illinois College following his first of two stints as the assistant coach at Linfield College.
 
From August 2017 to May 2019, he helped the team to a 31-5 overall record with an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2019 after claiming the Northwest Conference title. Linscott then returned to the Wildcats' staff for the 2021 spring season that saw the team go 13-3 overall, win another NWC championship and make it to the third round of the NCAA Tournament.
 
As a student-athlete, Linscott played his first three years of collegiate tennis at Whittier College, before finishing out his playing career with a season at Linfield. He helped the Whittier College men's tennis team reach a high rank of 19th in the country, while closing out his career with a banner season for Linfield that included competing as their No. 1 singles and doubles player and earning First Team All-NWC. Linscott earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Linfield in 2018.
