Biography

2013: Three-year letterwinner … will compete for a starting position on the defensive unit.

2012: Started all 19 games she played in during her junior season … collected 15 ground balls, 14 caused turnovers and two draw controls … picked up three ground balls and caused one turnover in the ODAC Championship game against Roanoke (5/6) … tallied two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 19-3 loss to Salisbury (3/10) … registered two ground balls, one draw control and one caused turnover in a 22-0 shutout at Hollins (3/13).

2011: Appeared in 19 contests with seven starts ... picked up 13 ground balls, caused 13 turnovers and recorded four draw controls ... helped the Generals rank 24th nationally in scoring defense (8.60 GPG) ... tallied three caused turnovers and two ground balls in a 8-7 loss to Cortland (3/16) ... collected two ground balls and two caused turnovers in a 7-6 win over Lynchburg.

2010: Appeared in 13 contests with six starts during her rookie campaign ... collected 14 ground balls, 12 caused turnovers and eight draw controls ... helped the defense post an 8.00 goals-against average for the season, the 18th-best mark in NCAA Division III.

High School: Earned three letters each in lacrosse and swimming, received two letters in field hockey and one in indoor track & field at Kent Place ... helped lead the lacrosse team to a conference title as a junior ... helped the swimming team to a pair of swimming championships ... named defensive MVP of the lacrosse and field hockey teams as a senior ... received the swimming most improved award as a sophomore and junior and was named team MVP as a senior ... received second team all-conference and third team all-county honors following her final field hockey season.

Personal: Three relatives attended W&L, including her grandfather (Walton ’47), father (Clay ’78) and brother (Ted ’09) … serves as Director of Social Enrichment for Alpha Delta Pi … active with Ronald McDonald House Charities and Boxerwood Gardens … spent the summer as an intern in the E-Commerce Department at J. McLaughlin in Brooklyn … politics major with an emphasis on American government and also an Art History major.
