Mark Roeder is in his first season as a Volunteer Assistant Coach for the W&L Men's Soccer team in 2023.
No stranger to Lexington, Roeder spent the three seasons prior to joining the W&L staff as a volunteer assistant at VMI. Roeder comes to the Generals with over 20 years of youth coaching experience, as well as 15 years of officiating experience. His time as a referee has extended up to the pro level, including the A-League.
A native of Laurel, Md., Roeder spent 10 years of active duty in the United States Navy and owns a USSF D-License. Roeder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in cybersecurity and a Masters of Business Administration degree, both of which he earned from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
