Griffith was hired as a part-time volunteer assistant coach prior to the 2026 season, before being promoted to a full-time assistant coach shortly after the season ended. In his first season on staff, he helped the Generals to another successful year. W&L posted a 16-6 overall record and won its second consecutive ODAC Tournament title, before advancing to the third round of the NCAA Tournament for a fourth straight season.
Prior to arriving in Lexington, Griffith served as a graduate assistant coach at Messiah University for the 2025 season, focusing his efforts with offensive players and on extra-man opportunity groups. Following the Falcons' 2025 campaign, Griffith was the offensive coordinator for Team 91 Maryland 2028s, where he provided coaching support for faceoff specialists and goalies.
Griffith earned his Bachelor of Science in political science from West Chester University in 2024. His collegiate lacrosse playing experience came during the COVID-shortened 2020 season when he scored three goals in five games as a freshman midfielder at Cabrini University.
