2008: Played in all 10 gamesand finished third on the team in rushing with 94 yards and onetouchdown on 27 carries … also caught three passes for 35yards and returned 17 kickoffs for a 19.5 yards average per return… notched 460 all-purpose yards for the season …rushed eight times for 19 yards and a touchdown in a 31-23 win overAverett (9/27) … amassed a season-best 96 all-purpose yardsin a 32-19 loss to Bridgewater (11/1) … also tallied 82all-purpose yards in a 39-29 loss to Hampden-Sydney (10/18).

High School: Earned threeletters each in football and baseball at Salem High School …helped lead the football team to a pair of state titles …earned first team all-district and all-region honors as a runningback during his senior season … also named to the 2007 FirstTeam All-Timesland squad by the Roanoke Times … first teamall-district honoree as a defensive back and a second teamall-district selection as a running back during his junior season… second team all-district selection in baseball as asenior.
