High School: Competed in baseball, football and track & field at Wakefield High School ... earned three letters in football and three in track & field ... helped lead the football team to a district title as a senior ... named the Sun Gazette's Offensive Player of the Year Award and was the Team MVP as a senior ... two-time first team honoree on offense and defense ... won a state championship in the indoor long jump as a senior, earning first team all-state honors ... also a two-time all-state honoree in the shot put and was named the team's outstanding male field athlete twice ... received the Better Sports club of Arlington Sportsperson of the Year Award.
