Steven Jackson

Steven Jackson is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Washington and Lee, serving as the defensive line coach.

Jackson came to W&L after serving as an assistant football coach and foundations of technology teacher at South Hagerstown High School in Maryland since 2012.  In his role as assistant coach, he worked with the offensive lineman and served as the offensive coordinator and strength and conditioning coach.

Jackson earned a bachelor of science in physical education and health from Shepherd University in 2012.  He was a four-year starter on the offensive line and was a team captain for his senior season.  He was a two-time all-conference honoree, including as a senior when he received First Team All-WVIAC, First Team All-Region and All-America honors.  As a junior, Jackson helped lead the Rams to a conference title and the NCAA Division II Semifinals.

In high school, Jackson was an all-district, all-region and all-state honoree at Amherst County, leading the Lancers to a state championship in 2007.
