Biography

2015: A three-year letterwinner ... will compete for a starting spot on the defense.

2014: Started all 19 games for the W&L defense ... led the team with two defensive saves ... had one in a 3-0 win over Hendrix (9/4) and another at Lynchburg (9/17) ... was part of a defense that held opponents to 1.82 goals per game.

2013: Played as a defender and goalkeeper for W&L in her second season ... appeared in 18 games, including seven at goalkeeper ... registered two starts in goal, making 14 saves ... allowed eight goals in 246:05 minutes for a 2.28 goals against average ... part of the defense that shutout Sweet Briar, 3-0 (10/8). 

2012: In her first season, Curtiss appeared in 15 games with two starts ... totaled two defensive saves with one at Lynchburg (10/3) and one against Christopher Newport (10/21) ... took three shots ... part of a defense that shutout Transylvania (9/1) and Roanoke (9/25).

High School: Earned 10 letters in high school with three in field hockey, three in lacrosse and four in swimming ... in 2010, she received Most Improved Defense in field hockey ... garnered the Most Valuable Defense honor in 2011 ... her team won the Group II State Championship in 2009 ... was the Most Valuable Defensive Player for lacrosse in 2009 and 2010.

Personal: A neuroscience major.
