2009: Lettered following hisjunior season … started all 37 games for the Generals… hit .356 with 25 RBI, three homeruns and 10 doubles… struck out just six times in 146 at-bats … went3-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in a 6-1 win overHampden-Sydney (4/24) … homered and went 3-for-5 with threeRBI in a 14-13 loss to Emory & Henry (4/16) … was aperfect 4-for-4 with a pair of runs driven in and scored two runsin a 10-5 win over Bridgewater (3/18).
2008: Lettered as a sophomore… eared First Team All-ODAC honors … started 33 of apossible 34 games behind the plate … hit .385 with ateam-high 40 runs driven in … had 13 extra-base hits andscored 31 runs … drew 24 walks and struck out just fivetimes … knocked in three or more runs in a single game onsix different occasions … went 4-for-5 with a pair ofdoubles and four RBI in a 7-4 win over Hampden-Sydney (3/5)… went 2-for-3 with two doubles, a pair of runs scored and awalk in a 13-3 loss to Randolph-Macon (4/25).
2007: Lettered during hisdebut season … appeared in 24 contests with 21 starts… posted a .356 batting average with 25 RBI, 10 doubles andthree homeruns … scored 29 runs and posted an on-basepercenatge of .429 … went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs drivenin as W&L lost, 7-6, to Hampden-Sydney (4/19) … posted aseason-high three hits in four at-bats in a 10-4 loss to Shenandoah(3/29) … knocked in three runs in three at-bats in a 15-7win over Mount Aloysius (3/4).
High School: Four-yearletterwinner in baseball and football at AC Flora ... four-timeall-region baseball selection ... also earned all-state honors andplayed in high school all-star game ... baseball team was regionchampions all four years.
Off the field: Grandfather,Art "Pappy" Lewis was head football coach at W&L from 1946-1948… father, Cam, played football at West Point …economics major.
