2016: Earned ABCA Second Team All-America accolades to become just the third player in program history to achieve the feat ... garnered first team all-region honors from the ABCA, third team all-region laurels from D3baseball.com, was First Team All-ODAC, first team all-state and the ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar Athlete of the Year ... led the ODAC and was fourth in Division III with a 1.03 ERA ... was 8-0 on the season and struck out 60 batters with only 11 walks in 78.1 innings pitched ... the 1.03 ERA is the second-best single-season mark in program history ... the eight wins also tied Concklin for the second-most in a single year in the history of the program ... pitched a complete game (9.0 innings pitched) against Hampden-Sydney (4/28), leading the Generals to a 2-1 victory in the opening game of the ODAC Tournament ... allowed just one run with six strikeouts in the contest ... struck out at least five batters in eight of the 12 games he started ... recorded a season-high seven strikeouts in a 3-2 victory over Marymount (2/20) ... did not allow more than two runs in any game he started.Â
2015: Started 10 games in his second season ... led the team with a 2.74 ERA in 46.0 innings pitched ... had a 4-3 record with 37 strikeouts and only 12 walks ... notched a career-high eight strikeouts in a 6-4 loss at Emory & Henry (4/4) ... held Hampden-Sydney (4/18) to no runs and four hits in 7.0 innings with five strikeouts ... had seven strikeouts in 4.0 innings in a 3-1 win at Marymount (2/7) ... struck out seven batters in 6.0 innings while giving up one earned run in a 6-0 loss to Roanoke (3/28).Â
2014: Appeared in 12 games in his first season with seven starts ... finished second on the team in ERA at 2.02 and was third in the ODAC ... had a 3-2 record in 49.0 innings with 24 strikeouts ... registered his first collegiate win in a 15-0 victory over UMPI (2/22) ... pitched a season-high 7.2 innings with four strikeouts in a 7-0 win at Roanoke (3/22) ... earned a victory over 12th-ranked Shenandoah (4/16) ... went 6.0 innings, giving up only two earned runs with four strikeouts in the 6-3 win.Â
High School: Earned four letters in his prep career at Hinsdale Central High School with two in baseball and two in golf ... was named a Hinsdale Central Athlete of the Month once, and also earned the Hinsdale Central Most Improved Athlete honor ... named an Illinois State Scholar.
Off the Field: His uncle, Tim Stuart, graduated from W&L in 1982 and played on the football team ... an economics major.
