2018: Started nine games as a junior and played in 10 games … was part of a defensive unit that yielded a 1.20 goals-against average and six shutouts on the season … took three shots on offense, putting one on goal … scored one goal in a 4-0 win over Franklin & Marshall (9/8) … W&L Scholar Athlete for the Fall and Winter terms … 2018-19 ODAC All-Academic Team.
2017: Appeared in 13 games with 12 starts in her second season with the Generals … scored a goal in a 7-0 victory at Randolph (9/30) … she was also part of a defense that posted a 1.03 goals-against average and claimed seven shutouts.
2016: Saw action in 15 contests during her rookie campaign … scored two goals in a 3-0 victory at York (Pa.) (9/17) … contributed an assist in a 2-1 win against Elizabethtown (9/3).
High School: Three-year letterwinner in soccer at Mountain Brook High School … was a two-time All-Metro selection … also a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Spanish Honor Society.
Personal: Spent the last two summers working at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and studied ICU delirium this past summer at VUMC … Co-President of Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society … student liaison for the Classes and Registration Committee … volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and works with the nursery at Lexington Presbyterian Church … taught English in Argentina for six weeks during 2019 Spring Term … great grandfather, Joseph Lanier Sr. ’27, and great uncle, Joseph Lanier Jr. ’57, attended W&L … grandfather, David Carr, played baseball at UVA … neuroscience major.
