2019: Played and started all 18 games for the Generals in her third campaign … notched a career-high two assists on the year, and also took five shots … notched one assist in a 5-0 victory at Eastern Mennonite (10/12), and recorded her second assist in a 2-1 overtime win over Randolph-Macon (10/26) … named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
2018: Started all 18 games in the midfield in her second season … had one goal and one assist for three points … also totaled a defensive save … notched the first goal of her career in a 5-2 victory over Shenandoah (9/29) … registered her first collegiate assist in a 6-1 victory over Ferrum (10/24) … named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad.
2017: Started all 20 games for the Generals as a defensive midfielder ... took six shots with two on goal ... was a part of a defense that yielded a 1.66 goals-against average, while totaling four shutouts.
High School: Competed in field hockey and lacrosse at Darien High School ... named first team all-state in 2016 and 2017 in field hockey and was FCIAC East first team both years ... was All-FCIAC first team in lacrosse in 2016 and 2017 ... a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Her mother, Julie Vennes Hancock ’92, played lacrosse at W&L and her father, Rhett James Hancock ’93, also played lacrosse for the Generals ... history major ... was an intern and research assistant over the summer.
