2020: Three-year letterwinner and a team captain.

2019: Started all 10 games at linebacker and finished as the team's fourth-leading tackler with 41 stops ... also had four pass breakups and one blocked field goal ...  posted a career-best 11 tackles and two pass breakups in a 36-35 loss at Randolph-Macon (11/2) ... notched six tackles in a 31-14 loss to Bridgewater (10/26) ... registered three tackles and blocked a field goal in a 52-14 win over Guilford (9/21).

2018: Started a majority of the season as a linebacker ... played in all nine games and finished as the team's third-leading tackler with 49 stops ... had 3.5 tackles for a loss (-10) and one sack (-7) ... set a season-high with eight tackles and one sack in a 16-10 overtime win over Dickinson (9/1) ... also had eight tackles in a 30-20 win over Bridgewater (10/6) and in a 40-3 loss to Guilford (10/27) ... posted seven stops in a 23-7 loss to Randolph-Macon (9/29).

2017: Played in all 11 games and tallied 16 tackles and one forced fumble ... notched a season-best four tackles in a 28-21 win over Washington University of St. Louis (10/7) and in a 45-42 loss to Emory & Henry (9/30) ... had one tackle and a forced fumble in a 63-30 win over Sewanee (9/9).

High School: Earned three letters as a member of the football team at Douglas Freeman High School ... earned first team all-conference honors as a junior and senior ... also named second team all-region and second team all-metro as a senior ... participated in the Big River Rivalry All-Star game.

Personal: Member of the ODAC All-Academic Team ... uncle, David Murphy, played football at William & Mary ... is an Eagle Scout ... business administration major.
