NORMAN, Okla. - The Washington and Lee University men's golf team was ranked eighth in the NCAA Division III Bushnell/Golfweek Preseason Coaches' Poll, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) announced on Friday afternoon.

The Blue and White enjoyed another impressive season on the course in 2025-26, finishing second at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship before capping the campaign with a T-6th place finish  at the NCAA Division III Championship in Florida. For the first time in program history, W&L had a pair of student-athletes finish among the top five individually, as top-ranked Jonathan McEwen recorded a national runner-up finish and 11th-ranked Tim Kaufman tied for third.

McEwen and Kaufman were both named GCAA/PING All-America and All-Region selections, while Charlie Krasnewich joined the duo as an All-ODAC performer. McEwen was also named the NCAA Division III Jack Nicklaus Award winner for the second consecutive season while becoming the fourth Division III golfer to represent the United States at the Arnold Palmer Cup.

The Blue and White kick off their fall slate on Monday, Sept. 21, when they compete at the NCAA Division III Preview at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
