FARMINGTON, Pa. – The 10th-ranked Washington and Lee women's golf team returned to action on Monday at the Tartan Invitational and is in 10th place after 36 holes of play.

• Round 1 Average Score: 78.59 (98 Rounds)
• Round 2 Average Score: 78.10 (87 Rounds)
• Total Average Score: 78.36 (185 Rounds)

TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL LEADERS THRU 36 HOLES:

• Top-ranked Emory is out in front after 36 holes of play. The Eagles led after the first round at 4-under (284), before they extended their lead with a 9-under (279) in round two. Third-ranked NYU is second at 4-under (287-285—572), followed by No. 2 Carnegie Mellon at 4-over par (287-293—580).
• Emory's Amanda Zheng is the individual leader after two rounds at 10-under, as she turned in a pair of 5-under (67) rounds on the day. Yvette Gordon (Huntingdon) trails Zheng by three strokes, with Hamilton's Aubrey Lee (-5 | 69-70—139) in third.
• As a team, the Generals are in 10th place at 28-over par (305-299—604). They were 17-over par after 18 holes and proceeded to shoot six strokes lower in the second round.

W&L DAY 1 PLAYER SUMMARIES:

• Sophomores Morgan Maddox and Toral Bhatt are tied for 32nd place on the individual leaderboard at 6-over par. Maddox posted a 4-over 76 in the opening round before carding a 2-over 74 in round two. She shot even-par on the front nine in the morning and was even on the back nine in the second round.
• Bhatt shot her better of the two rounds in the morning, going 2-over par with a pair of birdies before logging 4-over in the afternoon. Bhatt was 1-under (36) on the front nine in round one and totaled five birdies across the 36 holes.
• Sophomore Mackenzie Cline trailed Bhatt and Maddox by just one stroke after the opening round with two birdies and an even-par 35 on the back nine. Cline then shot a 4-over 76 in round two to settle in for a tie for 36th.
• Sophomore Bella Scucchi and first-year Kelsey Sciacca rebounded from tough opening rounds to both score for the Generals in round two. Scucchi had a 10-stroke improvement in the second round behind eight pars and four birdies, while Sciacca improved by eight strokes, which included a 1-under (34) on the back nine. Overall, Sciacca heads into Tuesday tied for 51st (+11), while Scucchi is tied for 57th (+12).
• Junior Berkeley Bundy rounded out the Generals in action on Monday playing as an individual. She shot 4-over (76) in the opening round, including a 34 (-1) on the back nine, before posting a 9-over (81) on round two.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

• The Generals are tied for seventh through two rounds of play in par-4 scoring average (4.22) and eighth in par-5 average (5.15). The team is also tied for eighth in birdies (24) and 10th in pars (100).
• Maddox, Cline and Bundy are among the 16 players tied for the fewest double-bogeys or worse (1).
