• The Generals (10-1, 3-0 ODAC) opened the match on a 10-1 run, fueled by four kills from Grace Mitchener, one from Emma Mulvaney, an Emily Schellenberg service ace and a block from Reese Gilla and Mitchener. Both teams traded points until back-to-back kills from Ava Fugitt kick-started a 6-1 run to put W&L up 20-9. Schellenberg tacked on another service ace during the run, while Gilla recorded a kill. Following a kill from Randolph-Macon (6-6, 2-2 ODAC), the Generals closed the set on a 5-2 run to win the opening frame, 25-12. The final run featured kills from Cara Hamil and Mulvaney, as well as a Mitchener service ace.
• The Yellow Jackets took an early 4-2 lead in the second set before both teams traded points, with RMC maintaining a two-point advantage. W&L reclaimed the lead with a 4-1 run as Mitchener added a kill and Sienna Nichoson registered a service ace. After more back-and-forth action, both teams rattled off five straight points, with the Generals' scoring stretch giving them a 19-17 lead. Four errors and a kill from Mitchener fueled the run. Another 4-1 run from the Blue and White extended their lead to 24-21 thanks to kills from Mitchener and Mulvaney, as well as a Schellenberg service ace. Two straight points from the Yellow Jackets cut the lead to one before Claire Hargett recorded the final kill of the set, giving W&L a 25-23 win.
• Washington and Lee jumped out to a 6-2 advantage in the third frame as Mitchener recorded three kills while Gilla added one. Three errors and a kill from Mulvaney extended the Generals' lead to six before a 6-2 run from the Yellow Jackets cut W&L's advantage to one. Three kills from Mulvaney and a block from Ava Gaines and Hargett fueled a 6-1 run for the Blue and White, extending their lead to 19-14. Randolph-Macon cut the deficit to 22-21 with a 7-3 run before a service error and kills from Hargett and Mulvaney secured the Generals' eighth sweep of the season.

• Mitchener led all players with 15 kills on 33 attempts with only two errors for a .394 hitting percentage while adding 14 digs for her eighth double-double of the season. Emma Mulvaney reached double figures in both kills and digs, recording 11 each for her fourth double-double of the season while posting a .400 hitting percentage. Olivia Leonard led the Yellow Jackets with 11 kills on 25 attempts with two errors for a .360 hitting percentage.
• Sienna Nichoson dished out a match-high 23 assists in the win while adding six digs and a service ace. Caitlin Smith led the Yellow Jackets with 21 assists, while Aiden Jolly added 10. Emily Schellenberg posted a match-high three service aces, while Nichoson and Mitchener each recorded one. Allison Lach led RMC with two aces, while Mia Goode added one.
• Mitchener and Vivi Vasquez led the match with 14 digs each, while Goode led the Yellow Jackets with nine. Ava Gaines led the match with three block assists, while five other Generals recorded one each. Ella Courtney finished with two block assists to lead RMC.

• The Blue and White notched their seventh-straight win, moving to 10-1 on the season with a 3-0 record in league play. The win also marked the fourth consecutive win over the Yellow Jackets and their third straight sweep.
• W&L registered 41 kills on 111 attemepts with ten errors for a .279 hitting percentage including a .480 clip in set one. They registered five service aces, four blocks, 37 assists and 58 digs in the win.

• Grace Mitchener moved up to No. 5 all-time in career attack attempts, moving past Laura Maurer '09 with 3,682. She also moved past Brynne Gould '22 in career kills, sitting at No. 11 with 1,199.

• The Generals continue ODAC play on Friday, Oct. 2 as they welcome Bridgewater College to Holekamp Gym for their Bleed Blue Game at 6 p.m.
