LYNCHBURG, Va. - Reese Brown of the Washington and Lee University women's track and field team improved her program record time in the 3,000m steeplechase on Wednesday evening at the Liberty University Twilight.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MEET

• Brown highlighted the meet for the Blue and White as she reset her own program record which she set at the ODAC Championship, clocking in a new personal best time of 11:10.22 to finish in second place.
• Jesma Evans turned in a third place finish in the 400m, clocking in a time of 57.07s. Cassie Carr competed in the 1,500m, finishing in 12th place with a time of 4:34.74.
• Emily Jackson was the lone competitor in the field events, competing in both the discus and shot put. Jackson finished in ninth place in the discus with a toss of 33.74m (110'-08.25") while finishing in tenth place with a mark of 10.98m (36'-00.25")
