Warr Garners Second Team All-America Honors, Finishes Ninth at NCAA Championship

5/21/2026 9:39:00 PM

LA CROSSE, Wis - Junior Olivia Warr of the Washington and Lee University women's track and field team earned Second Team All-America honors following a top-ten finish in the 10,000m on Thursday evening at the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field National Championship.

Warr, who was seeded seventh in the field heading into the national meet, turned in a top-ten finish as she finished ninth with a time of 34:58.88. Warr joined Josephine Schaeffer as the second student-athlete in program history to run in the event while turning in the second-best finish in program history behind Schaeffer's second place finish in 1993. Her performance this evening helped her garner U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Second Team All-American honors, the second citation of her career.

Bailey Hedgemon will round out the NCAA Championships on Saturday afternoon in the hammer throw. She is set to compete in Flight one at Noon (ET). You can watch live on NCAA.com or via the live results on leonetiming.com.
