HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Washington and Lee University women's track and field team looks to complete the triple crown for the second consecutive season as they head to Harrisonburg for the 2026 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Outdoor Championship on Friday and Saturday at the EMU Track & Field Facility.
Last season, the Blue and White hoisted their first outdoor title since 1995 last season while securing the first triple crown in program history, winning the cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field conference championships. W&L scored a staggering 206 points across the two-day meet with six event champions and 20 All-ODAC performers.
The Generals return four ODAC champions from last year's team including
Olivia Warr who won a pair of titles in the 1,500m and 5,000m. Warr became the fifth General in program history to reign victorious in the 1,500m with a time of 4:49.51 while winning the sixth title in program history in the 5,000m with a time of 17:34.72. Warr ranks second in the 1,500m with a time of 4:38.74 while leading the 5k with a time of 16:56.91 heading into this championship.
Reese Brown is the reigning champion in the 3,000m steeplechase after clocking in a time of 11:24.50 at last year's championship. She heads into the weekend with the top-time in the field with a seed time of 11:17.22.
Camille Gillum won her first outdoor title and her fourth overall last season after clearing a height of 1.68m (5'-06.00"). She heads into the championship meet with the top mark at 1.66m.
Bailey Hedgemon rounds out the returning champions after securing the title in the Hammer Throw last season with a toss of 46.51m (152'-07.00"). Hedgemon leads the hammer throw entering the championship at 51.93m while ranking fourth in the shot put (11.60m) and fifth in the discus (35.40m).
W&L has four returning Second Team All-ODAC performers including
Brianna Breyault,
Layla Keadle,
Lilly Versen and
Emily Jackson. Breyault finished right behind Brown in second in the 3,000m steeplechase to garner All-conference honors after clocking in a time of 11:24.52. She ranks second in the 3k steeplechase heading into this weekend's meet with a time of 11:27.30. Keadle earned All-ODAC honors for the first time in her career after finishing second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.52m (11'-06.50") and has the second-best mark heading into the championship with a seed of 3.53m.
Versen is a returning second team All-ODAC selection in the 100m, finishing in second last year with a time of 12.28s. Versen holds the third-fastest time in the event heading into the weekend with a seed time of 12.41s. She also ranks fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.33m. Jackson rounds out the second team honorees, finishing in second in the shot put last season with a mark of 11.88m (38'-11.75"). Jackson heads into the championship with the fifth-best mark in the shot put (11.48m) and 12th in the discus (31.27m).
