AMHERST, Va. - Junior
Jonathan McEwen of the fifth-ranked Washington and Lee University men's golf team secured his second consecutive Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) individual title while the team finished in second place in the three-day event.
The Generals finished as the league's runner-up for the second-straight season as they finished the tournament with a score of 59-over par (304-313-306 – 923) after shooting 18-over par in today's final round. 39th-ranked Guilford hoisted their 20th league title with a score of 40-over par, shooting a tournament-best six-over par in the final round on Tuesday. Randolph-Macon finished in third place with a score of 62-over par while No. 45 Hampden-Sydney moved up one spot to fourth in the final round, shooting 64-over par. No. 17 Lynchburg rounded out the top-five with a score of 67-over par.
The Blue and White shot 13-over par (157) on the front nine, carding five birdies and 16 pars while bouncing back with a fiver-over performance (149) on the back nine with six birdies and 22 pars.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
- No. 1-ranked Jonathan McEwen secured his second-straight individual ODAC title after holding off Guilford's Gavin Peach in the final round. He finished the three-day event with a score of three-over par. After shooting one-over in round one and two-over in round two, McEwen carded an even-par 72 in the final round to secure the victory. He opened the day with back-to-back birdies before adding four pars and another birdie on hole five to shoot even on the front nine. He began the back nine with four straight pars before collecting two birdies in a three-hole stretch and closing with pars on holes 17 and 18.
- Ninth-ranked Tim Kaufman fell 10 spots in the final round to finish in a tie for 12th place at 16-over par. After rounds of 74 (+2) and 76 (+4), Kaufman carded a 10-over 82 on Tuesday. He recorded one birdie and three pars on the front nine to shoot six-over, then added six pars on the back to finish four-over on that side.
- Charlie Krasnewich moved up three spots in the final round to join Kaufman in a tie for 12th at 16-over par. After rounds of 76 (+4) and 80 (+8), Krasnewich shot a four-over 76 to secure a top-15 finish. He opened with a birdie on hole two and shot two-over on the front before adding another birdie on hole 14 and closing with four straight pars to shoot two-over on the back.
- Turner Edwards climbed six spots to finish in a tie for 43rd place at 30-over par. After shooting 84 (+12) and 86 (+14) in the first two rounds, Edwards bounced back with a 76 (+4) in the final round. He carded four pars on the front to shoot five-over before recording three birdies and four pars on the back to shoot one-under, highlighted by back-to-back birdies on holes 11 and 12 and another on hole 16.
- William Hull dropped three spots to also finish in a tie for 43rd place at 30-over par. He followed rounds of 81 (+9) and 83 (+11) with an 82 (+10) in the final round. Hull shot 10-over on the front nine with pars on holes five and nine before settling in with an even-par back nine, recording one birdie and finishing with five straight pars.

Following the tournament at the awards ceremony, the Blue and White collected three All-ODAC selections in McEwen (First Team), Tim Kaufman (First Team) and Charlie Krasnewich (Second Team).
