Schleusner Selected to WBCA Division III Collegiate All-Star Game

Third General in Program History to be Named a WBCA All-Star

LILBURN, Ga. - Senior Mary Schlesuner of the Washington and Lee University women's basketball team was selected to play in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division III Women's Collegiate All-Star Game.

The all-stars were chosen by a committee composed of head women's basketball coaches of NCAA Division III programs, all of whom are members of the WBCA. Schleusner is the third player in program history to be named a WBCA All-star, joining Erin Hughes '21 and Hanna Malik '24.

The game will be played at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, Mar. 21, preceding the NCAA Division III women's basketball national championship game in the Cregger Center on the campus of Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia. 

The 20 all-stars are divided into two 10-member teams for the game. Anne Crutchfield, former head coach of Emory & Henry University and Adrienne Shibles, former head coach of Bowdoin College, will be the coaches for the teams.
