HARRISONBURG, Va. — Seven goals from six different players, including two from
Issy Mann, powered the No. 18 Washington and Lee University field hockey team to a 7-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory over Eastern Mennonite University on Saturday afternoon at EMU Turf Field.
The Generals (7-3, 3-0 ODAC) scored twice in the opening quarter, added three goals in the second and two more in the third to secure their third consecutive conference victory. Mann led the offensive effort with two goals and an assist, while
Margaret Scheurer added a goal and an assist.
Marley Wilkerson contributed two assists.
Washington and Lee controlled possession throughout the contest, outshooting the Royals (0-9, 0-2 ODAC) by a 28-0 margin and earning all 15 penalty corners. Goalkeepers

Dory Fosgate split time in cage as the Generals recorded their second shutout in conference play.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Washington and Lee opened the scoring just over five minutes into the contest. Following a penalty corner, Margaret Scheurer connected with Madeline Lancione, who found the back of the cage at 5:01 to give the Generals a 1-0 advantage.
- Just 22 seconds later, Scheurer doubled the lead with an unassisted goal at 5:23. W&L finished the opening quarter with a 9-0 advantage in shots and earned five penalty corners.
- The Generals continued to pressure the Royals in the second quarter.The Blue and White earned a penalty stroke at 18:12 but sent the attempt wide. Just over a minute later, Anna Treese found the back of the cage at 19:13 to extend the lead to 3-0.
- Gracie Kaspar added to the advantage at 21:11, converting a feed from Issy Mann following a penalty corner to put W&L ahead 4-0.
- Mann then moved into the scoring column at 24:57, finishing a pass from Marley Wilkerson to give the Generals a five-goal cushion heading into halftime. W&L outshot Eastern Mennonite 18-0 and held an 8-0 advantage in penalty corners through the opening 30 minutes.
- Mann struck again early in the third quarter, scoring her second goal of the afternoon at 32:41 off another assist from Wilkerson to extend the lead to 6-0.
- Emma Wirth capped the scoring at 37:32, converting a feed from Noelle Kokolis following a penalty corner to give Washington and Lee a 7-0 advantage.
- The Generals continued to control play in the fourth quarter, generating six additional shots and four penalty corners. Eastern Mennonite goalkeeper Renata Videki made three saves in the final period to keep W&L from adding to its lead.

- Issy Mann led the Generals with a career-high five points on two goals and an assist. She finished with four shots, including two on goal.
- Margaret Scheurer recorded three points with a goal and an assist, putting one of her two shots on cage.
- Marley Wilkerson registered two assists, setting up both of Mann's goals.
- Madeline Lancione scored the opening goal of the contest and finished with two shots, both on goal.
- Treese scored once and paced the Generals with five shots, including two on goal.
- Gracie Kaspar added a goal on three shots, while Emma Wirth scored on her lone attempt.
- Noelle Kokolis contributed an assist and generated three shots.
- Helenka Chodakiewicz started in cage and played the opening 30 minutes before Dory Fosgate took over for the second half. Neither goalkeeper faced a shot as the Generals combined for the shutout.
