WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The 12th-ranked (NWCA Dual Poll) Washington and Lee wrestling team wrapped up competition on the final day of the Budd Whitehill Duals with a pair of placement-round duals, ultimately finishing eighth overall in the 16-team field.

With a handfull of injuries plaguing the regular W&L starting lineup, the Generals fell to No. 16 Stevens, 20–15, in the 5–8 semifinal before closing the tournament against No. 22 Messiah, dropping a 34–12 decision in the seventh-place dual.
