Eight Generals Named All-Academic, Women’s Track & Field Honored by USTFCCCA

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Academic athletes and All-Academic teams for the 2025 NCAA Division III women's track and field season on Monday afternoon.

The Washington and Lee University women's track and field team earned the distinction for the16th-straight season by achieving a team grade point average (GPA) of 3.68, ranking within the top-25 in Division III among the 209 teams honored.

Top five teams in Division III:
  • Middlebury College: 3.89
  • Pomona-Pitzer Colleges: 3.88
  • Saint Vincent College: 3.81
  • The College of St. Scholastica: 3.789
  • Haverford College: 3.773

Additionally, eight student-athletes were honored as All-Academic Athletes by the USTFCCCA for the 2024-25 school year. To qualify for the individual award, a student-athlete must maintain a career cumulative GPA of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale through the most recent grading period. In addition to the classroom criteria, the student-athlete must have finished the season among the top 50 individual performers in an NCAA event or participated in the Indoor or Outdoor National Championships.
