LEXINGTON, Va. - The Washington and Lee University women's track and field team reeled in 13 Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) All-State honors while head coach Dana Freeman was named the Coach of the Year.

Head coach Dana Freeman earned her fourth Coach of the Year honor this season after leading the Generals to their first outdoor Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Championship since 1995 and guiding the program to its first-ever triple crown. The Blue and White set nine program records and recorded 29 additional top-ten performances in the outdoor record books. The team also secured six individual titles at the ODAC Outdoor Championships.

Olivia Warr led the All-State honorees, earning First Team recognition in both the Distance and Mid-Distance categories. She claimed two individual conference titles, winning the 1,500m in 4:49.51 and the 5,000m in 17:34.72. Warr qualified for the National Championships in Geneva, Ohio, in the 1,500m and finished 21st with a time of 4:43.32.

Reese Brown garnered First Team honors in Distance events after winning the ODAC title in the 3,000m steeplechase. She clocked the third-fastest time in program history—11:24.50—to become the first General to win the event since 2013. Emma Mitchell joined Warr and Brown on the Distance Second Team with her performance in the 10,000m at the ODAC Championships, where she posted a time of 37:33.98—the fifth-fastest in program history.

Lilly Versen was named to the Sprints First Team after earning silver in the 100m dash. She ran 12.38 seconds in the prelims to qualify for the finals, where she crossed the finish line in 12.28 seconds to secure second place and All-ODAC honors.

Ashley D'Ambrosia and Camille Gillum both earned First Team honors in the jumps. D'Ambrosia won her second consecutive outdoor pole vault title by clearing 3.62m (11'-10.50"), a mark that led the region and ranked 24th nationally in Division III. Gillum earned First Team honors after capturing her first outdoor high jump title—and third overall—by clearing a personal-best 1.68m (5'-06.00"). Her performance ranked 11th in Division III and qualified her for the National Championships, where she earned Second Team All-American honors with a T-11th place finish.

Bailey Hedgemon and Emily Jackson earned All-State recognition in the throws. Hedgemon secured First Team honors after winning the ODAC Championship in the hammer throw with a mark of 46.51m (152'-07.00"), which also earned her All-Region status. Jackson collected Second Team honors with a runner-up finish in the shot put at the ODAC Championships, where she set a program record with a throw of 11.88m (38'-11.75").

Annabelle Sutliff, Lucie Graziano, Amanda Romano, and Ana Hodneland rounded out the All-State selections by earning Second Team honors in the 4x400m relay. The quartet placed third at the ODAC Championships, finishing in 4:03.00.
