WILLIAMSBURG, Va. —The Washington and Lee University women's golf team concluded its 2024-25 season on Wednesday afternoon, finishing 20th overall at the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship hosted at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Facing relentless rain, gusting winds, and flooding conditions across both courses, the Generals posted a 36-hole team score of 647 (+67) over two days of competition. After carding a 329 (+41) in the opening round on the River Course, W&L returned Wednesday to improve with a 318 (+26) on the Plantation Course—jumping four spots in the standings to close out the championship.
The top 15 teams after two rounds advanced to the final day of play and W&L finished five places back from the cut line.
