GLEN ALLEN, Va. – The No. 16-ranked Washington and Lee University women's golf team closed out the Max and Susan Stith Invitational with a fifth-place finish, firing a final-round 313 (+25) for a two-day total of 628 (+52) at The Dominion Club (Par 72, 5,646 yards).
The Generals moved up two spots from their first-round position, finishing behind a nationally competitive field led by No. 1 Carnegie Mellon (+28). No. 10 NYU (+34) and No. 2 Emory (+39) rounded out the top three.

Individual Highlights:
- Junior Julia Haetzel led the Generals with a top-10 finish, placing 7th overall at +6 (73-77—150). She recorded three birdies on Tuesday, played even-par on par 5s, and led the team in pars (24) and fewest bogey+ holes (8).
- Laetitia Roegner surged 19 spots on the final day, carding a 4-over 76 for a two-day total of 158 (+14) and T-28th finish (82-76—158). The senior registered a pair of birdies over the tournament.
- First-year Berkeley Bundy improved by 11 places, shooting a 78 in the second round to finish T-33rd at +15 (81-78—159).
- Sophomore Ella Wong posted a 79-82—161 (+17) scorecard and finished T-37th.
- Senior Marcella Mercer shot 82-82—164 (+20) to place 48th overall.
