Men's Swimming Takes Nine Top-10 Spots the First Day of the D3 Shootout

CHICAGO — Members of the Washington and Lee University men's swimming team opened competition Friday at the Division III Shootout hosted by the University of Chicago.

Dalton Jobe had the highest finish of the first session, registering a time of 1:38.85 in the 200 freestyle, taking second overall and marking a 'B cut' time in the event.

Through the first day, the men tallied 219 points off of nine top-10 finishes. Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 8, competing in the Chicago Shoot Out hosted by the University of Chicago. Action begins at 11:30 a.m. CT.
