SPARTANBURG, S.C. — The Washington and Lee women's cross country team capped its season with a 15th-place finish at the 2025 NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday, beating its pre-meet No. 17 ranking by two spots.
Junior Olivia Warr was named an All-American for the second straight season after she placed 4th overall in 21:14.9, leading the Generals in a 32-team championship field.
The team title was won by NYU (79), with Williams (106), Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (133) and Johns Hopkins (140) rounding out the top four.
W&L posted a 2:31 spread for its five scorers (22:44.2 average). Junior Lydia Harvey finished 50th (22:10.1), followed by Reese Brown at 140th (23:06.7), Eve Spencer at 136th (see below) and first-year Josie Engle at 225th (23:45.9) to complete the scoring five.

With the 2025 cross country season complete, the Generals turn their focus to winter training and preparation for the 2026 indoor and outdoor track & field campaigns.
