Ryan Good and first-year
Harrison Silver put a bow on the Washington and Lee men's tennis team's trip to the ITA Southeast Region Championships with deep runs in the B3 Singles bracket on Saturday.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM DAY 3:
- With Silver still going in B3 Singles after a 2-0 day on Friday, Silver advanced to the championship round with a 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (7) win over Daniel Greene (Johns Hopkins). Silver was then bested, however, in the B3 Finals 6-3, 6-4 by Swarthmore's Winston Zhang.
- Good, who dropped his first match in B3 on Friday, won all three of his matches on Saturday, the last of which came in the consolation championship match. Good initially advanced via walkover, before winning the next two matches, 8-5, against Rithik Manchala (Mary Washington) and Stefan Johnson (Haverford).
- Good and first-year Pearce Lane collected a win in the Championship Doubles Consolation Round of 16 early in the day. They defeated Catholic's duo of James Earwood and Diego Romo, 8-6.

The Generals will play in their first of two home matches this fall on Thursday, as they host Roanoke at 3:00 p.m.
