Series History:
The Generals and Tigers will meet at Lewis C. Everett Stadium on Saturday for the 83rd time in program history, dating back to their first meeting in 1889 where the Blue and White won 6-5. The all-time series is tied with a 40-40-2 record, with the Generals winning seven of the last ten match ups, including the last two. The last four match ups have been decided by four or fewer points.
Last season in Lexington, the Generals staved off a late rally by the Tigers to win 28-26. Carter Sido opened the scoring with a five-yard TD pass to Sutton Lasso, followed by back-to-back rushing touchdowns from Jacob Romero '25. Two Elijah Swett field goals kept the Tigers close at halftime, 21–20. Marcus Payne '25 extended the lead with a short rushing TD in the third, but the Tigers answered with a trick play—receiver Ethan Dowdy threw a 24-yard TD to Austin Fernandez. Romero scored his third TD early in the fourth, and Terry Hicks responded with a one-yard plunge to make it 28–26. The Generals sealed the win with a clock-chewing final drive, which spanned the final 8:28 minutes.
Carter Sido led the passing game with a 22-for-31 (71%) effort for 232 yards and one touchdown. Ty Collins completed two of his eight (25%) passes for 24 yards as well. Romero posted a game-high 148 yards on 25 carries with three touchdowns on the ground, averaging 5.9 yards per carry, which earned him ODAC Offensive Player of the Week honors. JT Diehl led the Tigers with 52 yards on ten carries, averaging 5.2 yards per touch. Ethan Dowdy caught nine passes for 108 yards while tossing a touchdown in the third quarter. Jalen Todd '25 led the defensive efforts with 14 tackles and a tackle for loss, while six Generals combined for four sacks in the win and two forced fumbles. Mitch Ladamus led the Tigers' defense with 12 tackles and five solo stops.
