WINCHESTER, Va. – The Washington and Lee University men's cross country team won the Hornet Harrier 6k on Saturday, overcoming challenging course conditions due to a week of heavy rain in the Shenandoah Valley.

The Generals claimed the team title with 23 points, finishing ten points ahead of McDaniel (33 points).

Sophomore Jackson Kodenski led the field, placing first overall in 20:29. First-year Davis Amare (third) and sophomore William Fitch (fifth) secured top finishes for W&L.
